There are things that are visible and invisible in this world. The beauty of calligraphy is not only in the visible drawing of lines and dots, but also the blend of other elements such as brushstroke trajectory, brush pressure, and space. Chiharu Kuronuma, who has a perspective on both dance and calligraphy, combines the principles behind both the visible and the invisible with dance theory to express that what is visible is not everything there is – there is beauty in the invisible as well.
